I have an exhibition! In two weeks! I'm super excited to be teaming up with Jay Dee Dearness (the loveliest of ladies and an amazing printmaker) and to exhibit in her beautiful space. Our exhibition will be a collection of photographic works from both of our separate, ongoing projects based on the same theme – the sea.

We have spent so much wonderful time in aquariums around the world together, working away on our projects and then developing side-by-side in the darkroom at home. It seemed like a natural progression to exhibit together. Jay Dee is one of my closest friends and a brilliant artist, I feel pretty lucky to be working alongside someone so inspirational and talented.

The work I will be featuring is from my 'Tiny Oceans' project, a series I've been working on for the past few years. For the first time I'll be displaying selected photographs and offering them for sale as limited edition prints. These will be available both in the gallery and online, but more info on that soon!

So if you're in Brisbane for the first week of September, please stop by Myrtle Street Studio and say hi.

Happy Friday!!

This sounds so wonderful! I wish I lived closer and could go see it. I love aquariums and your black and white photos from them are so inspiring.
