one afternoon by the sea

In this single afternoon I shot more film than I have in months. It was one roll after another, between lots of time spent gazing at the sea, laughing and talking, sipping wine and throwing chips to the waiting gulls. 

More weekends like this please.

Wow, Ashley, these are so beautiful. The light...and the seagull in the second one is a perfect capture.
I wish I lived by the sea! But I would probably need to sell a kidney because I'd shoot like 10 rolls every day :)

These are so beautiful and vibrant. I love those days when the inspiration for photos seems to be pouring into you faster than you can click the shutter, when the light, the company and the scenery is all perfect and it would really be a crime not to shoot as much film as you can. :)
Of course... I always wish those days were more predictable in their showing up. ;)

Love the pictures of the sea--especially the second one with the seagull! I've tried taking pictures of them in flight but never has one flown so close...
